Community Engagement
Corporate Hometown Tax Donation Program
Japan’s Corporate Hometown Tax Donation Program is a system that encourages companies to contribute to local government projects aimed at regional revitalization. In April 2026, our group received a certificate of appreciation from the Mayor of Kanuma City at the program’s appreciation ceremony.
Plant and Community Cleanup Activities
We carry out cleanup activities around our offices and plants and take part in local beautification efforts to help keep our communities clean and pleasant.

Traffic Safety Awareness Activities
At our Hokkaido Plant, we conducted a roadside traffic safety awareness campaign in conjunction with the summer traffic safety campaign as a member of the Ebetsu Industrial Park Cooperative Association.
Sponsorship of Local Community Events
As part of its community engagement efforts, our Kitakyushu Plant supports selected local events and festivals organized by municipalities and other community organizations. We will continue to value our ties with the local community and contribute through activities rooted in the region.
Education and Youth Development
Plant Tours for Local Elementary School Students
Our group welcomes local elementary school students to visit our plants and learn about manufacturing operations and the processes involved in making our products. Through these tours, we aim to support children’s learning in the community while fostering their interest in work, industry, and manufacturing.
Environmental Conservation and Resource Circulation
Water Resource Conservation
Our group recognizes the conservation of water resources as one of the key social issues we must address. As a company that uses water in its business activities, we are committed to helping protect the water environment and promote the sustainable use of water resources. Since 2020, we have supported the groundwater conservation activities of the Kumamoto Groundwater Foundation as a member of its supporting association, the Kumamoto Ikusui-kai. We also contribute through donations to winter flooding initiatives that help preserve groundwater resources.
Plastic Bottle Cap Collection Campaign
We continuously carry out a plastic bottle cap collection campaign as part of our efforts to promote resource recycling and social contribution. The collected caps are sent to a recycled resin company for effective reuse, and the proceeds are used to support polio vaccine donation programs run by the certified NPO Japan Committee, Vaccines for the World’s Children.
Pull Tab Collection Campaign
We conduct a pull tab collection campaign to promote the effective use of resources while supporting social welfare initiatives. The collected pull tabs are sent to the Environmental Pollution Prevention Liaison Council, where they contribute to programs that help provide wheelchairs to those in need.
Social Welfare and Support for Persons with Disabilities
Support for Welfare-Based Employment
Our group company, Seihoku Package, purchases preserved flower arrangements made at disability support facilities and presents them to nearby schools. Through this initiative, we support employment opportunities for persons with disabilities while also strengthening our ties with the local community.
Support for Community Welfare
We place orders for a variety of assembly and processing work with residents of Kibou no Ie, a social welfare corporation. Through these business activities, we support community welfare and create employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Please also see our “Diversity” page.
Red Feather Community Chest Campaign
Through our participation in the Red Feather Community Chest Campaign, we contribute to the promotion of local welfare. As a company rooted in the community, we will continue to support initiatives that help address social issues in the regions where we operate.
Health and Medical Support
Blood Donation Activities
We cooperate with annual blood donation drives organized by the Japanese Red Cross Society. In fiscal 2025, employees at our Hokkaido Plant and Kanuma Office participated in these activities.
Disaster Relief and Community Disaster Preparedness
Emergency Supply Agreement with the City of Ebetsu
We have entered into an agreement with the City of Ebetsu on the supply of goods in the event of a disaster or other emergency. Upon request from the city, our Hokkaido Plant will prioritize the supply of insulation materials and other products manufactured at the plant.
Disaster Preparedness Agreement with the City of Tatsuno
We have concluded a disaster preparedness agreement with the City of Tatsuno. In the event of a major disaster, and upon request from the city, part of our facilities may be used temporarily as an evacuation site if residents are unable to access designated shelters. We will also provide supplies as needed.
Emergency Well Water Supply Agreement with the City of Kumamoto
We have entered into an agreement with the City of Kumamoto to provide well water in the event of a disaster. If a major disaster results in widespread water outages, the well water will be made available to local residents as emergency drinking water.
