Strategy of New Business Development

The mission of the New Business Development Division is to develop and expand markets for products and technologies and to expand business domains through M&A and alliances with other companies.

The first mission is to expand the business domain through "expansion of existing businesses" and "new products" and the "Development Center" is in charge of this.“Expansion of existing business" aims to open up new markets by expanding products that have already been commercialized to other applications and markets. The purpose of "New Products" is to create new businesses by using new production methods and technologies developed by our own technology in collaboration with the Research and Development Division.

The second mission M&A and alliances with other companies is handled by the Business Strategy Department, which is in charge of creating market-oriented businesses. They focus on North America, Europe, and China, where the market is particularly large and have organized NBD (New Business Development) teams at each site to formulate and promote global strategies.

All of the bases are aiming to develop products for various markets by applying the foam technology, which is JSP’s specialty and combine it with processing technology.
